ABOUT THE SALON

Most people remember the salon on the corner of George Ferguson Way and Gladwin as being called Utopia, and that is precisely the salon that Barb bought on April 1st 2000.  She bought the salon while she was working as a hair stylist and an instructor at a much respected hair academy.

There have been a few changes since then, most notably the name of the salon.  That changed to Paragon Hair Concepts in the middle of 2003 with a grand re-opening to mark the occasion.

Many people ask us what Paragon means, and it is a very fitting name because Paragon stands for ‘a model of excellence’.  Excellence is what we strive for at Paragon Hair Concepts with all staff continuing to take advanced training in cutting, colouring, texturizing, and extensions.

This is what gives us the right to call ourselves ‘cutting and colouring specialists,' the continued pursuit of knowledge to best serve our clients, and a passion for what we do produce the excellence that our name stands for.
